Female Cystoscopy. Prices, Reviews, Ratings
General information
This procedure is performed using a special device called a cystoscope. It consists of a metal cylinder, a telescope and a lighting system. The cylinder contains several channels through which catheters can be inserted into the urethra. A special liquid is also introduced into the bladder through it. The cystoscope has diathermic electrodes for removing polyps and strictures, as well as biopsy forceps, with which you can take tumor samples for analysis.
This procedure is performed very often in urological practice. Most operations on the urinary tract cannot do without cystoscopy.
Procedure

Performing a cystoscopy
If we are talking about surgical intervention, then anesthesia can be administered before the procedure. Then the female genitals are treated with antibacterial agents to prevent infection.
