Treatment of mycosis. Prices, reviews, ratings
Mycoses are a broad category of pathologies caused by parasitic fungi. Identification of cause-and-effect relationships is carried out by a set of laboratory studies.

General information
Generally accepted classification:
- Dermatomycosis (dermatophytosis, dermatophytosis, trichophytosis, onychomycosis) - skin inflammations of a contagious nature, provoked by parasitic fungi Trichophyton, Microsporum and Epidermophyton.
- Candidiasis (thrush) is a type of pathology of the epidermis, mucous membrane and internal organs, caused by microscopic yeast-like fungi of the genus Candida present in the environment of normal healthy microflora. The reaction is based on the entry of pathogenic strains into the body or increased reproduction of its own.
- Deep mycosis is a non-contagious infectious lesion of internal organs (aspergillosis, blastomycosis, histaplasmosis, geotrichosis, coccidioidomycosis, cryptococcosis, mucormycosis, rhinosporiosis, chromomycosis) with the involvement of various tissues in the process.
- Keratomycosis (lichen, piedra, scab, sporotrichosis) is a lesion of the hair and stratum corneum of the epidermis caused by yeast-like fungi Pityrosporum, Exophiala, Piedraia, Trichosporon, Sporotrichium.
- Pseudomycosis (actinomycosis, erythrasma, axillary trichomycosis, micromonosporosis, mycetomas, nocardiosis) - infection of the upper layer epidermis, provoked by saprophytes - corynebacteria.
Procedure
-
Dermatomycosis
A positive effect is achieved by antimycotics prescribed individually taking into account: the results of examinations and cultural diagnostics, the specificity of infection, the severity and degree of localization, susceptibility, gender and age, history of chronic diseases.
- Treatment of mycosis of the feet and hands is carried out with antimycotics and immunostimulants, with the removal of hyperkeratotic horny masses, and, as a maintenance course, fungicides and fungistatics.
- Treatment of nail mycosis is carried out by etiological and pathogenetic therapy, with the identification and correction of concomitant deviations, and improving microcirculation of the distal extremities.
- The greatest effect in the treatment of smooth skin mycoses (epidermophytosis) and, in particular, inguinal folds is given by antimycotics (lamisil, mycoseptin, clotrimazole) and treatment of foci with fucorcin or iodine tincture.
Candidosis
Mild manifestations are removed:
- solutions of aniline dyes, silver nitrate, sodium borate and Castellani.
- compositions with salicylic and benzoic acid, sulfur and tar.
Complex - antiyeast antibiotics (nystatin, levorin), with the support of vitamins A, B, C and P.
Deep mycosis
In simple cases, injections of actinolysate and an antibiotic of the penicillin or morphocycline groups are prescribed. The specific drug and dosage are determined by a specialist.
In complex situations, blood transfusions, surgery or X-ray therapy are required.
Keratomycosis
The therapeutic effect is achieved with fungicidal and keratolytic drugs, salicylic or resorcinol alcohol solutions, sulfuric or salicylic ointment.
Pseudomycosis - a solution similar to keratomycosis, but in a weaker concentration. Erythromycin is effective - in ointment and orally.
Treatment and diagnostics of mycoses are complicated by disorders of the main body systems and the influence of antibiotic, antiallergic, anticancer and hormonal agents taken previously for a long time.
Indications
The picture of manifestations has a large polymorphism and begins with hyperemia, dryness, desquamation of scales and the formation of microcracks with a specific white floury coating.
Mycosis of the feet affects the skin of the soles and interdigital folds, which becomes dry and red, with subsequent expansion on the dorsal and lateral surfaces. Clearly expressed grooves and abundant peeling are characteristic.
Mycosis of the nails primarily affects the nail plates with hyperkeratosis and destruction. Further development entails their detachment from the bed.
Mycosis of smooth skin manifests itself in the growth of ring-shaped formations in areas of natural folds - armpits, mammary glands and groin area.
Generalized mycosis affects any areas of the skin with the appearance of severe itching and desquamation. Causes the accumulation of infection in the lymph nodes. Cause: long-term local lesions of the extremities, the dissemination of which is enhanced by problems with internal organs, the nervous, vascular and endocrine systems, the use of steroids and antibiotics.
Contraindications and complications
Contagious forms are characterized by high potential contagiousness, are characterized by an increased tendency to allergization of the process and relapses of the disease, can lead to a transition to a protracted latent stage and exacerbation of other, already existing diseases.
Problematic risks are present - but only as a consequence of errors and incorrect diagnosis and drug therapy.
