Determination of antibodies to insulin. Prices, reviews, ratings
General information
Insulin antibodies are a marker of autoimmune damage to beta cells, which belong to the pancreas and synthesize insulin. They are found in almost 40% of people with newly diagnosed type 1 diabetes. They can be observed at the prediabetes stage, symptomatic manifestations of type 1 diabetes.

Procedure for determining insulin antibodies
The procedure involves taking a blood sample from a vein. After venipuncture, the blood is collected in an empty test tube or in a test tube with a separating gel.
The area where the venipuncture was performed is pressed with a cotton swab until the bleeding stops. If a hematoma forms, the specialist prescribes the use of warming compresses.
