General Information

Preparation guidelines:
- Testing is done in the morning on an empty stomach.
- Limit medications and multivitamins; inform the doctor if unavoidable.
- Last meal 8 hours prior for adults, 4 hours for children. Drinking is allowed.
Venous blood is used as the biomaterial. Rest for 15 minutes before the puncture. A rubber tourniquet is applied, blood is drawn, and the site is treated with an alcohol solution.
