Barotherapy. Prices, reviews, ratings
General information
Barotherapy is a method of therapeutic intervention based on the effect of high or low air pressure on the body. This technique became popular after its beneficial effect on the physical fitness of athletes who needed fast, high-quality and harmless recovery after extreme loads was proven.
The essence of the method comes down to stimulating the body by exposure to high or low pressure. Moreover, the body reacts differently in both cases. When air pressure increases, increased oxygen saturation of all body fluids begins, which leads to the following consequences:
- metabolic processes in body cells are normalized;
- energy balance improves;
- cell functionality improves.
Both the body's resistance to external influences and endurance increases. In addition, at high pressure, gases dissolved in the blood are gradually forced out of the person, which leads to the removal of toxic substances from the body.
Low blood pressure has a beneficial effect on the functioning of many organs. The circulation of fluids noticeably improves, metabolism accelerates.
