Physiotherapist

A physiotherapist is a doctor who treats and prevents diseases of various organs and systems, and provides subsequent medical rehabilitation using artificially created or natural physical factors. Examples of such methods include ultrasound, heat or cold exposure, magnetic fields, and ultraviolet radiation. Additionally, a physiotherapist uses exercise programs and massage sessions for treatment.

A physiotherapist consultation is recommended for pain syndromes, preparation for IVF, urological conditions, chronic inflammatory processes, musculoskeletal disorders, and the postoperative period. The physiotherapist develops an individualized treatment plan for each patient, determining the appropriate method, intensity, and duration of intervention, taking into account not only test results but also the patient’s age, overall well-being, and contraindications. A physiotherapist performs procedures such as inhalation therapy, electrotherapy (electrosleep and pulsed currents), galvanization, phototherapy (laser and quantum therapy), electrophoresis, and darsonvalization. Physiotherapy helps with insomnia, excess weight, skin rashes, and high or low blood pressure.
