General information
The occurrence of hydrocele is associated with an increase in the produced fluid. This occurs due to the occurrence of any inflammatory processes occurring in the testicular membranes.

Preparation

In this case, a small drainage is left in the wound.
Rehabilitation period
After the Winkelmann-Bergmann operation, the patient should adhere to the following recommendations:
- it is necessary to wear loose clothing;
- reduce the load of physical and active activity;
- taking painkillers;
- taking anti-inflammatory drugs;
- regular consultations with a doctor.
Indications
The main indication for the Winkelmann operation is small hydrocele. Indications for the Bergman operation are thickening of the testicular membranes and hydrocele of a relatively large size.
Contraindications
The presence of concomitant therapeutic pathology in the stage of decompensation is the only contraindication to this operation.
Complications
Complications that arise after the operation:
- wound suppuration;
- bleeding;
- scrotal edema;
- testicular inflammation, which is associated with its irritation during the operation.
