If a child by ten months does not try to drink from a cup on his own; lying on the bed, does not roll over, does not crawl forward; in a sitting position still balances uncertainly, does not spin on his bottom around his axis; does not know how to pull a hat off his head - this is a reason to consult a neurologist.

Come up with different fun for the mischievous child. Hide your face behind your palms or a piece of fabric, then suddenly open up, say "peek-a-boo" - children love such entertainment. 1. Doman's educational cards. It was not for nothing that I placed this handout first. My nine-month-old son was delighted with Doman cards (I regretted that I had not bought them earlier, when he was six months old). He constantly asked to study, studied 10-15 cards per lesson every day. I did not insist at all - he literally forced me to drop everything, lay out interesting pictures. As a result, we bought several sets.

2. Cubes. It is believed that the first children's cubes appeared on sale in the 19th century. For several centuries, young builders have been constructing towers, fortresses, entire cities. Buy sets with cubes of different sizes and materials (wooden, plastic, cloth). Children's creativity develops imagination, dexterity, fine motor skills, accuracy (after all, you need to manage to build so that the tower does not fall). Do not scold the baby for deliberately destroying the tower. Smile, offer to build another. Do not replace ordinary cubes with construction sets like "Lego". Despite the simplicity of the first, they have a number of advantages:

• develop imagination, make thinking work actively, because they do not impose a ready-made solution scheme;
• are not attached to each other, they slide, which means they require more perseverance, attention, accuracy;
• introduce the concepts of balance, attraction, weight, shape.

Do not skimp on buying cubes made of high-quality material - your child will be able to play with them until school. In addition to bright plastic cubes, buy natural ones, cut from different types of wood. The latter will be more stable, heavier, and their texture and wood grain will give food for imagination. Come up with story games, for example, load a dump truck with cubes, build a garage, look through the window, under the arch of the built tower.

3. Rubber balls. Buy balls of different diameters, with soft spikes, smooth, with a pattern, one-color. Children love to play with them. Throwing, kicking the ball, the fidget develops coordination of movements, dexterity, trains the muscles of the legs, arms.

4. Pyramid. This is an eternal children's educational toy. Pay attention to the quality, type of pyramid. The upper part of the rod should be thick, rounded to reduce the risk of injury. Show the baby how to string rings, put on the top. Do not expect that at one year old he will do it flawlessly, given the size of the parts. This kind of fun hones hand-eye coordination, precision of manipulation, thought process, trains memory.

5. Matryoshka, other attributes-inserts. This is visual material for learning the concept of size, developing speech, its understanding, fine motor skills.

6. House sorter. Introduces shape, color, size of parts. Improves coordination of movements, eye, hearing, memory. It is good when the sorter is equipped with finger trainers, additional musical accompaniment, figurines of birds, animals. Their voices sound when the window is chosen correctly.

7. A toy-ride. By pushing it in front of him, the little one learns walking skills, learns to keep balance, and the additional support adds courage to him.
