Reproductologist

A reproductologist is a specialist who addresses issues related to conception, pregnancy, and childbirth. Unfortunately, difficulties with conception and carrying a child can stem from numerous causes, including early pregnancy termination; viral and fungal diseases (chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, genital herpes, ureaplasmosis, candidiasis, HPV, etc.); ovulation disorders, polycystic ovary syndrome; and hormonal imbalances.

A reproductologist performs IVF (in vitro fertilization) and monitors the pregnancy until delivery.

A reproductologist’s consultation proceeds as follows: the doctor examines the patient, orders hormone tests, blood tests, and swabs for various viruses, and refers the patient for functional diagnostics. The need for these examinations is determined individually by the doctor.
