General information

Laser pulses penetrate the hypodermis (adipose tissue) along the thin corridor of the cannula. The thermal energy of the laser affects only fat cells: adipocytes. But it does not destroy the cells, but only disrupts the integrity of their membranes. The fat inside the cell melts and easily comes out. Some of it enters the bloodstream and lymph flow. And if traditional liposuction using thicker metal cannulas can injure tissues, cause hematomas, swelling and scars, then laser lipolysis helps to avoid this. After all, during the procedure, laser radiation coagulates (glues) nearby vessels, preventing bleeding. The application of stitches and bandages is also not required. The only possible addition to the procedure may be aspiration (vacuum suction) of melted fat, which is carried out at the patient's request.
