Sometimes these substances are used for medicinal purposes. Without a neurologist's prescription for a course of treatment, these drugs are a serious threat to human health, as they interfere with the internal structure of organ systems in an unnatural way. Some of them can cause addiction, which leads to severe dependence, while simultaneously causing degenerative changes, sometimes irreversible. We are talking about drugs.

The Plague of Modernity

Any substances that affect the nervous system and cause at least minimal dependence can be called narcotic. That is, coffee and tea (as is known, tea also contains caffeine, but a slightly different kind) are also narcotic substances, but practically harmless, unless, of course, you do not drink these drinks in huge quantities. However, drugs often mean a set of synthetic or natural drugs and substances that have a very strong effect on the human brain, and therefore addiction to them is very high. The scourge of modern times is hard drugs. The harm of drug use is undeniable. Often, people with already ruined health and crippled destinies come to see a narcologist.

Nowadays, they increasingly talk about the existence of "light" psychostimulants, for example, marijuana, whose moderate use does not immediately affect a person's health. However, this does not make it harmless. Moreover, the illusion that the use of marijuana and similar analogues does not have any negative consequences for health is dangerous because this drug is taken by people often and consistently. Too often for its toxic effect to remain minimal. Unfortunately, marijuana is not the only drug of this kind. It has a sedative effect, being a relatively natural substance. But along with it, there are other "soft" drugs that are designed to provide the exact opposite effect, that is, stimulants.

The harm of synthetic drugs and their danger

The food we eat contains a variety of active substances. Food is not only a natural and one of the main sources of energy, but can also affect health. Vitamins, minerals, and various elements that are part of food products cause a variety of reactions in the body, provoke the production of certain hormones that affect the functioning of the nervous system, and change the state of some organs. However, in the vast majority of cases, all of these active substances are natural, and their influence does not pose a threat to the body. Synthetic drugs, i.e. substances of artificial origin, are a completely different matter.

It is no secret that the exact system of the internal mechanisms of the human body has not been studied, and therefore even vitamins can pose a certain danger.

It is practically impossible to synthesize chemical compounds that could stimulate the nervous system without harm. All assurances about the harmlessness of "light" synthetic drugs are false propaganda that is used solely for profit.

Unfortunately, this propaganda is believed because the negative effects of taking these drugs do not appear immediately. A consultation with a narcologist will confirm that DOB, Dos and other psychostimulants disable the nervous system. The fact is that the effect of these drugs overloads the body, putting it in atypical, unnatural working conditions. By spurring the body with chemicals, a person gradually disables those internal mechanisms that regulate the most important rhythms of life support. We should not forget about the important role played by the nervous system. Failures in its work threaten the emergence of pathologies in the functioning of organs. But perhaps the most important danger is the formation of addiction.

A person who has a persistent psychological and physical dependence on any narcotic substance is a drug addict. This means that degenerative changes are already observed in his thinking, behavior and health, which will affect his relationships in society, his ability to work and life expectancy.

All this is because the drug addict does not know the sense of proportion in drug use. Of course, even a small dose of them poisons the body. But for a drug addict, the line is erased, he dies. Either from an overdose, or from switching to hard drugs, or from health problems.

The main consequences of taking drugs that are mistakenly (or falsely) called "light":

  • mental disorders of various kinds, depending on the individual inclinations and characteristics of the person;
  • sleep and appetite disorders, which will certainly affect the state of the nervous system, gastrointestinal tract and hormonal background;
  • disruption of the cardiovascular system.

In some cases, taking synthetic drugs threatens death from cardiac arrest.
