The beneficial qualities of persimmon vary and are associated with different systems of our body. Being a dietary product, persimmon perfectly satisfies hunger. Dietary properties and the presence of pectins help to restore the digestive system, normalize the functioning of the excretory organs. It is good in the fight against some diseases of the gastrointestinal tract.

Lactose and fructose in the fruit help to maintain the cardiovascular system normal. Moreover, it is an effective diuretic product. If you have anemia, the iron content will allow the body to recover faster. This is also relevant for exhaustion or tuberculosis.

Smokers are advised to pay attention to persimmon, since it reduces the likelihood of cancer, and the presence of beta-carotene will ensure normal functioning of the respiratory system and prevent bronchitis and pneumonia.

Of course, persimmon will greatly help in the fight against vitamin deficiency.

But there are also contraindications:

  • do not eat persimmon after surgery;

To choose a pomegranate, make sure that it is large and heavy enough. Check the peel for spots and soft areas, there should be none. Feel the fruit, ideally if the peel tightly covers the seeds and you can feel them with your fingers. Unripe pomegranates have a damp skin without relief.
