MACS-lifting. Prices, reviews, ratings
General information
Max-lifting is a surgical procedure that helps to qualitatively tighten the skin in the vertical direction and get rid of even fine wrinkles. The operation is performed under general anesthesia. In some cases, local anesthesia with sedatives is used.
There are the following types of lifting:
- simple or S-MACS;
- extended or X-MACS.
Both options guarantee an effective face and neck lift. The choice of technique depends on the patient's wishes and the surgeon's recommendations. With an extended lift, the skin has greater elasticity and flexibility.
Procedure
Preparation
Before the lifting, the doctor examines the face and neck, studies the medical history and prescribes tests: blood test and ECG. If necessary, other studies may be prescribed at the discretion of the specialist.
Two weeks before the facelift, you must:
- quit smoking and drinking alcohol;
- refrain from using cosmetics and procedures;
- not take antithrombotic medications.
Also, two weeks before this operation, you cannot visit a solarium or bathhouse.
The process of performing Max-lifting
The doctor makes an incision near the earlobe, then bending around the contour of the face to the second ear. Then an incision is made at the hairline, bending around the temple. After this, the prepared threads are attached to the temporal fascia, excess fluid is removed and a facelift is performed.
When performing S-MACS, two sutures are received: one on the neck, the second on the face. X-MACS involves three sutures: two in the face and neck area, the third is done to eliminate the accumulation of excess fat.
Rehabilitation period
After the session, the patient is prohibited from smoking and drinking alcohol for a month. In the first days, swelling, bruises and hematomas may appear on the face and neck, which quickly disappear with proper treatment. The patient must wear a compression bandage, which fixes the contours and eliminates the appearance of swelling. The bandage can only be removed with the surgeon's permission. Also, you cannot dye your hair or perform other procedures with it (curling, highlighting, applying masks, etc.).
The doctor can prescribe medications for pain, nausea, insomnia and swelling. You can take a warm shower only after removing the drainage. Usually, the patient returns to normal life within 1-2 weeks.
