The causes of such deviations are:

  • chromosomal pathologies;
  • dysfunction of the pituitary gland and hypothalamus;
  • decreased production of thyroid hormones;
  • hyperplasia of the adrenal cortex;
  • deterioration of ovarian function;
  • insufficient or excess body weight;
  • premature menopause.
The cause of male infertility can be excessive production of female sex hormones due to infections, abnormalities in the development of the scrotum or its injury.

The main symptom of female infertility is a violation of the menstrual cycle. Patients experience scanty periods accompanied by pain in the lower abdomen. Delays of varying duration (from a week to a year) often occur. In addition, hormonal imbalance can cause other deviations in health. These include:

  • carbohydrate metabolism disorder;
  • high blood pressure;
  • excessive hair growth on the body;
  • stretch marks on the skin of the chest and abdomen.

For diagnosis, a woman needs to undergo an examination by a gynecologist-endocrinologist, who will determine the disease based on the results of a blood test for hormone levels. The following will also help to identify the cause:

  • general examination and assessment of height, weight, virilism and development of the mammary glands;
  • plotting a basal temperature chart;
  • ultrasound monitoring.

In addition to the necessary hormonal tests, men undergo a spermogram.

Successful treatment of endocrine infertility is possible only as a result of an integrated approach with hormone therapy, physiotherapy procedures and exercise therapy.

Normalization of body weight is a prerequisite for restoring hormonal functions. Obesity and extreme thinness have a negative impact on women's reproductive health. The transition to proper nutrition and regular exercise will help solve the problem.

The next stage is hormonal correction of endocrine disorders and stimulation of the ovaries for egg maturation. As a result of therapy, hormonal levels are maintained, which are favorable for pregnancy.

Ovarian function cannot always be restored by medication. Laparoscopy is prescribed for polycystic ovary syndrome. This new surgical technique shows good results and does not create adhesions in the pelvis, which often occur with traditional wedge resection.

Quantum hemotherapy is a form of physiotherapy. For this procedure, the patient's blood is collected in a sterile bottle containing a solution of sodium chloride and heparin, irradiated, and reintroduced into the vein.

Ozone therapy is also widely used to solve gynecological complications. Ozonized saline solution is administered dropwise at a rate of 10 ml per minute. It includes an ozone-oxygen mixture passed through a container with distilled water.

Visiting a sauna is possible at a temperature not exceeding 60 degrees and humidity of 10 - 20%. Moderate heat loads promote relaxation, enhance excretory functions of the body and strengthen the immune system, which is very useful for reproductive health.

Preventive measures include:

  • regular examination by a gynecologist;
  • proper nutrition and a healthy lifestyle;
  • active pregnancy planning;
  • giving up bad habits.
